Skip the gas line and park right back to Marietta Donuts and pick up at least 1/2 dozen donuts! It's was my 1st time there. Disregard the interior decor (or lack thereof) and feast your eyes on the rainbow spectrum of simple humble donut options: glazed, old fashioned, jelly, chocolate, strawberry icing with sprinkles, red velvet, blueberry, etc. Since I built high expectations on the buttermilk donut, it actually tasted different from what I expected (maybe I confused it for a sour cream donut?) so then I "reluctantly" resorted to tasting a glazed, 1/2 of eclair with custard and some glazed donut holes.
The size of the donuts was ideal; not too doughy big and not too small either. The dough density was lighter and airier than what I expected, even lighter than Crispy Kreme's. Cooked well and somewhat crispy outside in certain parts. It may also be my Northern taste buds but the glaze on all the donuts seemed very very sweet. Nonetheless, still very good donuts in its own right and at extremely inexpensive prices. Nice little treat on the weekend with or without refilling the gas tank! Worth the trip! -

Decent cake and yeast donuts next to a gas station. It's a 3.5* in that I'd visit if I was in the area in the mood for a donut.
PSA - Go to the SHELL GAS station...don't bother looking for a donut shop! Really hidden.
=. Ambiance is a tiny donut stand at the gas station. They have a separate entry and it's really a "to go" only.
+. Donuts were okay. I had a glazed and a Boston cream which were fine. Not great but not bad.
+. Price was average
+. Service was okay
= Limited ~3 parking spots in front of the shop
This donut shop didn't live up to the hype for me. Both donuts were just fine but not enough for me to drive over just for them again. -

We've found that calling ahead helps us get the donuts we want. Super inconvenient but it helps us get the donuts we want.
I wish they could get in the habit of making a stock of donuts before opening. We are always waiting twenty minutes for donuts! We get there early but the donuts aren't ready. Super disapoin -

Have you noticed that Dunkin Donuts is always out of everything lately? Frustrating! Now this place may not have the best coffee, like DD, but the donuts are so fresh and good. They make them on site and they are delicious! The people are friendly and it's a quick in and out. Good job for a small business.

Stopped in again for more. Blown away again by the quality and value. Do yourself a favor and buy a dozen of plain glazed. You won't be disappointed. The plain glazed it truly their best. Get a couple fancy donuts for the kids and spouse but the plain glazed are where it's at ( and I'm a chocoholic-so this means a lot!)
Don't let the exterior fool you. Inside lies the most delicious donuts I have tasted. What this shop lacks in looks it makes up in flavor and charm. We taste tested a blueberry cake, chocolate iced with sprinkles and apple fritter. We went late in the afternoon and they had decent selection available. We will go again early in the morning to experience the full selection. I think we may never set foot in a Dunkin Donuts again. This place takes the cake
